Bumping this thread with some goals set in mind when I resume
development.
Route:
I'll won't be designing the whole Dhoby Ghaut station except for
the first four doors.
I'll try to complete making station objects.......
Train:
Readjustments of length (Top priority)
Photorealistic exterior
Developing a plugin for ATO + VFD(if possible)
More about the ATO + VFD plugin:
This will allow you to drive the train in AM/CM/RM mode with full
safety features.
About the VFD plugin, we are thinking whether it is possible to
animate the VFD in accordance to the station. It might not be
possible so this idea will be put on hold. The ATO plugin, however,
is confirmed to be developed. (In .NET framework so that all
platforms are able to use the plugin.)
For the VFD all that's needed is to "colllect" a integer from
the beacon, and pass it to the train as a atsState for use in the
animated object. .
